Just a West Coast girl living in the South sharing her love of water and teaching swim.

Hi! Anne here. Some may say I grew up as a mermaid. I knew how to swim straight out of the womb. I could jump into the pool and swim to the top from the age of one. I started on a club synchronized swim team in first grade and then swam competitively on my high school swim team.

I grew up in Portland, Oregon and then lived in San Francisco for ten years. I did the “van life” for a few years and… well… I kinda got stuck here in Asheville. So here I am! I love traveling (I have been to 68 countries), gardening and ceramics. I would love to swap some flower seeds or nerd out on ceramics with you! I have a little dog named Lottie, who is the love of my life.

Enough about me! Why should your child learn how to swim with me? I teach 100 kids a week and have been teaching swim since high school. I know exactly what I am doing and how to help kids overcome so many fears and/or obstacles.
